Having enough food and snacks on hand is crucial if you have to drive a long distance. 

Have Proper Sleep

Though driving a vehicle on a long trip is tiring in itself, those without enough sleep on the prior night would feel more tired. The tiredness comes from the lack of rest, so it is very important for you to rest well before a long driving trip.
